We're excited to share a new partnership that's close to our hearts: Little Treasurer is teaming up with The Healing Center in Cincinnati to bring financial literacy to more families in our community.
The Healing Center is a ministry of Vineyard Cincinnati Church, offering practical, social, and spiritual support to individuals and families across the region. Among their many services, including a food pantry, healthcare access, and ESOL and GED classes, is a dedicated Financial Programs initiative. Through one-on-one money coaching and their "Strive 2 Thrive" money class, the Healing Center helps guests build spending plans, set goals, and work toward lasting financial stability for themselves and their families.
Through this new collaboration, kids and parents participating in the Healing Center's financial programs will receive Little Treasurer books as part of their journey toward financial confidence. While the Healing Center's coaching and classes equip parents with tools to manage money and build a stronger future, Little Treasurer's books give their children an early, age-appropriate introduction to the same values: earning, saving, spending, and giving.
Our hope is that these lessons don't stay separate. When parents are actively working toward financial stability, and their kids are learning the same principles through Finley the Financial Panda's stories, those conversations can start happening at home, together, at every age.
Financial literacy tends to work best when it's a family effort. A parent building new money habits and a child learning the basics of saving and spending are, in a real sense, on the same path. Partnering with an organization like the Healing Center, whose mission is rooted in helping families thrive long-term, felt like a natural fit for what Little Treasurer set out to do from the beginning: make financial literacy approachable for the whole family, starting young.
We're grateful for the opportunity to support the incredible work already happening at the Healing Center, and we can't wait to see these books in the hands of the families they serve.
